Where are the Google Street View Cars?

Curious where Google Street View cars are currently driving around, taking their panoramic snapshots for use in Google Maps? Google now makes this information transparent on a page listing the locations. According to that listing, Google’s cam cars are currently driving around in Canada, Switzerland and Germany.

Update: According to information from the comments, that listing by Google may not be very accurate. While Google says that due to e.g. weather or road closures the data is not always correct, I’m not quite sure how that would explain why whole countries are missing (if that’s the case).
