New Google Search Options: Search Only in Visited Pages, or Blogs, or Return Fewer/ More Shopping Sites

Google added the following to their search options side bar, which you can expand by clicking “Show options” on results (at least I believe they’re new; note they might still be rolled out for you):
- “Visited pages” vs “Not yet visited”: This lets you search specifically in only those pages you already visited once, or didn’t yet visit. This feature relies on your Google Web History, so if you want to use it, make sure your history tracking isn’t paused.
- “Fewer shopping sites” vs “More shopping sites”: For instance, in a search for iPod, clicking the “Fewer...” option removed a site like Amazon.com, as well as Google’s own shopping onebox.
- Blogs: This option will restrict results to just blogs. Entering e.g. google wave with this turned on would rather find recent reviews or discussion from sites like Techcrunch, than the Google Wave app itself.
Both All these features look interesting. Do you find them useful?
[Thanks Franta!]
