Unknown Person Damages Google Street View Car

Google’s Street View panorama photos have faced criticism over privacy issues in the past. Now, according to, in the German city of Oldenburg an unknown person damaged a Google Street View car. “The person severed the connection between the roof-mounted imaging system and the vehicle interior. Furthermore, the person let out the air of a tire of this Opel vehicle. (...) Perhaps in order not to cause danger on the road to the driver of the vehicle, the unknown has also left a handwritten note under the windshield wipers, bringing attention to the flat tire.”
