Since some minutes I just get the old Gmail. Language is set to English (US). But why did the Linkbar disappear?

There's something going on here: I tried to open a label, Gmail couldn't that and showed the retrying message. When I refreshed the page, Gmail reverted to the 1.0 version with no option for the 2.0 version. After a minute, I reloaded the page and the new version returned. |
For the last two days gmail has stopped working for me on two different computers in IE – still works in firefox. I cleared cookies and cache and that solved it on one computer but not on the other. hmmmmm |

Somehow .. I am being switched back to the older version of Gmail without me doing anything on my side. The 'Newer Version' link is gone as well. Anyone experiencing the same? |
Upon further investigation, I realized that even Chat, IMAP and POP3 Mail Retriever is gone .. this is really weird .. I logged into other Gmail accounts that I own and they all work fine. |

Maybe blogoscoped could make some noise about this to let gmail engineers know? |
