The Google Chrome logo also reminded me of the Simon game, especially this depiction:

I was also amused to see a few "alternative" logos for a Google Browser from 2007. Amusingly, the second one is entitled "Chrome":

I guess that sometimes, the wrong language you want to change from ain't english:
Google Chrome installed in the wrong language, how can I change it?
You can switch to another language in [wrench icon] -> Параметры -> Малой Tweaks -> Изменить шрифт и языковые настройки -> Языки -> Google хром язык / орфографический корректор языка |

You can change the sspipes.scr by renaming this one and put another in c:windowssystem32 with same name :) |

I love the way the search (the page) feature localizes results along the scrollbar (look the orange lines) |

They should seriously consider turning the auto-download off. It's major design flaw.
Firefox always prevents users from accidentally executing EXEs by allowing only one option "Save File", which is a good thing. |

On the search engine front – has anyone determined whether the presence of the search box is a result of local parsing of URLs (the code being part of Chrome) or through identification and flagging by Google with the classification as a "search" being made available to Chrome?
The "search engines – edit search engines" functionality is part of the Firefox bookmark functionality too (although much less accessible in Fx 3.x than in Fx 2.x), where the space character " " is used instead of tab. |

If you use Chromium instead of Chrome you get to see new features more often, and bugs as well. From Google Operating System: You can install the latest snapshots for Windows here : build.chromium.org/buildbot/sn ...
Here's something new, Chromium recognizes RSS feeds.

I've used the mini installer from the latest build but don't see any way Chromium recognizes RSS feeds... can you explain more or post a screenshot of the feature? |

Nope, the latest Chromium doesn't has a feed preview feature and I doubt that this is a priority for the team. |

Does it not look very much like the google app engine logo ? Just the back of it? The relevance would be meaningful |

Have any security experts pointed out that the "report bug or broken website" feature has the checkbox for the send screenshot checked by default? |
Drew ![[PersonRank 0] [PersonRank 0]](image/postrank/0.gif) | 4 years ago # |
furthermore, the screenshot capture for "report bug or broken website" has no disclaimer about being only within the browser window. |

Regarding Site Search – You can use the omnibox this way to search the current page you are on:
So you're already on: example.com/whateverpage Add <search query> site: in front so you have the following:
<search query> site: example.com/whateverpage |
