I think it will be interesting to share your suggestions or ideas you hope to see in Buzz.

Here are mine:
1-Mark the GReader items I read in Buzz as red in GReader instead of having to check them twice
2-Translate option for Buzz posts
3-ReBuzz
4-Starring
5-Add Buzz to the GMail mobile app.

This buzz explains the best ways to give feedback:

<< Q: How do I send feedback or ask questions about Google Buzz?

A: For feedback about Buzz inside Gmail we have a feedback form [1] and public forum [2], both of which we're following very closely.

For developer-related issues, like parsing Buzz feeds or adding new sites, we have a public issue tracker [3] that the developer team actively uses. For more detailed questions, please join us on the google-buzz-api mailing list [4].

Also see our frequently asked questions and answers about user control features [5] and the overview page for Buzz help topics [6].

Thanks to @Bryan Field-Elliot for asking!

Some sort of filtering (similar to facebook feed), Google Apps version, syncing post count with shared items in reader (so i wont read same posts twice) and good bookmarklet/button (share in reader is a poor version honestly).

1. Make an easy way to search buzzes

2. Make it easier to create a buzz (from the inbox perhaps in the white space on the top right?) rather than needing to click on the buzz tab.

3. Make a global buzz search (like twitter search)

Most of Google services seem vaguely prepared for a Buzz interface/integration. Flesh this out properly to make Buzz a real integrated lifestream.

Some order in buzz would be interesting. I'm into very different things, from cooking to politics or management... but every comment is loaded together, with no order and no difference (twitter's the same, I'm afraid)... if there was an option to put contents from Greader, Twitter, Blogger... in different pages, flaps, whatever.., I'd avoid having a messbuzz...

[put at-character here]David Try twitter lists to keep the subjects you follow separate.

As for Buzz, if it's going to suck in my tweets, etc. then I want it to push out my buzzes too!

And if it's going to suck in everything then I want it to filter the dupes (ex.: show the original tumblr post and stack the subsequent tweet, facebook update, friendfeed, mybloglog, etc. "behind" the original).

Vic DiGital [PersonRank 1]

In the comment streams, I'd like to see it automatically give the original poster some sort of colored highlight, so we can easily see when they comment on the post.

Also, I'd like to see my own comments highlighted, so when I return to a thread, I immediately know where I was when I last interacted with it.

Finally, along the same lines, for people that I follow, I'd like to have their comments highlighted in some way, so I know immediately when someone I know has joined a conversation I'm a part of. Another option is to show a tiny profile icon next to their name in the comment thread.

How about a "Buzz this" bookmarklet? Also I like the idea of "reBuzzing" something that someone else has Buzzed. And like others, I don't like reading friends' shared items in Reader twice (should mark as read in Reader if I've read in Buzz and vice versa).

– Separate Buzz from gmail.
   – Let me turn Buzz off.
   – Let me delete any information relating to Buzz.
   – Allow me to opt-out of all similar additions to any Google products in the future (so that I can join when I want).

While you are at it:
   – Also let me turn off sharing in Google Reader and stop asking me if I want to allow someone to see my Google Reader shares (which I have none). If Google can automatically make Buzz users follow me in Google Reader, please let me ignore everyone automatically.
   – Let me turn off chat fully in Gmail. Although I have it turned off the "Chat" panel is still there, though I am signed out of chat.
   – Please let me remove the "Invite a friend" panel completely. Who needs it?
   – In Gmail, instead of saying "Last account activity: 10 hours ago at IP 118.x.x.102", How about doing a whois lookup. Tell me more than an IP address.
   – In Google Calender/Gmail, Let me have a task that re-occurs. You can have an event that re-occurs, why not a task?
   – Get GMail to make a beep when a new email message arrives. (could be done if browser supports flash).
   – Allow me to download a compressed file as a backup of all my Gmail.
   – Get the Official Google Notifier working properly on Vista / Window 7.
   – Allow me to make important email message sticky , so they always stay at the top of my email box.
   – Allow me to filter all email by language. Let me create a rule saying that if an email has no English in it at all, then move it to the spam folder.

Oh and let me have a little option box saying "Never let my buzz posts be searchable" [ Tick]. As they are technically all searchable if a friend makes their Google profile searchable in Google.

Let me create a post that only thread participants can see, even if a thread is public.

they should fix the way that folders are created in picasa everytime someone buzzes photos... Its been 5 days of buzz, and my 118 picasa folders of personal photos are almost as many as my photo-upload folders...

Maybe a solution would be to create a special 'Buzz' tab or section in picasa.. Keep the buzz content separated from the personal photos section..

Make it work in Google Reader. Many people don't use the Gmail online access and either download, or use a gadget to read emails. Gmail is still too slow too.

This seems to be a pretty classic "What are the user requirements" question, except that user requirements are usually discovered/established *before* you develop something, not *afterwards*.

"Erm, we made this really great thing for you to use, but now we're not quite so sure what it's use might be."

This seems rather like you are asking what people might wish for (require of) their Thneed.
("A Thneed's a fine something that all people need." – The Onceler in the story of The Lorax.)

My list, by priority:

High:
* Finish the API. Third party apps for Buzz will make things exponentially better.
* Widget capability, vis Google Wave. Buzz integration into site comments is tacitly more interesting than the same feature for Wave.

Medium:
* Filtering capability, within Buzz.
* The ability to receive replies in an external /email/ client, instead of just Gmail.
* The ability to automatically forward Buzz to another account as normal email (currently, this does not work even with an explicit filter).

Low:
* Cleaner integration. I've already experienced a series of bugs related to turning off Buzz for certain Google services (eg, Reader) when posting comments within those same services.
* Separation between connecting a site with Buzz and allowing Buzz to handle comments. I would like Buzz to only handle Google Reader entries that I've commented on, for example.

---
(Interestingly, my priority is negatively correlated to the complexity of the feature. No surprise, that. :))

1) Widget iGoogle (probably coming soon)

2) More inline editing (like gWave)

3) Private by default

4) Better contacts management (with groups and stuff.. at least prettier and easier)

5) Possibility of sorting the buzzes (a tags or labels system)

Behind all this Buzz about Buzz, all of you seem to have missed something very obvious – why do you need a Google profile (public or private) to use Buzz? Would Buzz be any worse off if everyone didn't have Google profile.

When you make a Google Profile, Google's search engine can index it and thus know more about you. Sure, Gmail already has all your private mails and contact lists. But Google can't really use that data publicly.

Google Buzz is about using people's lack of computer knowledge and naivety to get them to reveal more about themselves publicly.

Mobile (Android):

-Delete buzz option.
-Finish the upload image from file functionality
-Push notification for buzz updates from those being followed (with snap-to location).

Online:

-Buzz Google Maps layer.
-Tighter integration with friends/latitude lists.

From WSJ's article:

"After taking steps to stem the public backlash against its social-networking service Buzz, Google Inc. is planning further updates and considering changing how it tests new Buzz features.

Google product manager Todd Jackson said in an interview Monday that the number of people initially uncomfortable with the service underscored that the company's approach of testing Buzz among its employees hasn't been sufficient.

"Getting feedback from 20,000 Googlers isn't quite the same as letting Gmail users play with Buzz in the wild," Mr. Jackson said. "We needed to launch to the public and get feedback from users."

News Analysis:
When Google released its Google Buzz social sharing service Feb. 9, it became natural to speculate whether Buzz would threaten Facebook in the social networking arena.

It won't because, simply, users have become quite comfortable with Facebook and some of the 400 million users have generated a lot of content there in the last six years. That's content that stays there.

I want to share here with you some of my concerns about privacy with Buzz and with social networks in general. The problem is that with social networks, people share not only their own staff, but things that involve other people too (like photos), and they do this in an automatic way to "all their friends" because of the simplicity of not start selecting people (and many times making them public without knowing), and sometimes that staff shared with so many people can generate a real-life problem to the people that appear in that staff (maybe in that moment, maybe some day in the future). That can go from labor problems to bulling to family violence, and I know some real cases.
I have post some ideas in the google moderator page about this privacy issues that i want to share with you. I'm a bit amazed that some people have vote against them since they all would be opt-in features in the general settings, so it's not like "remove that feature" suggestion, that if you like that feature, i understand that you vote against it, but opt-in settings doesn't remove anything to anybody. In any case, this is a free on-line world, so just do whatever you want.
1) Public Buzz as a separate option:
http://www.google.com/moderator/#15/e=4cd8&t=4cd8.40&q=4cd8.1dc7e
Instead of public a private option, put "all my followers" or "some" and in a separate place a check in for public post. Most people think public="all my followers" and make public things that don't want."
2) Anonymous public profile
http://www.google.com/moderator/#15/e=4cd8&t=4cd8.40&q=4cd8.1d44b
Let me have an anonymous public profile but with info to my contacts. I would be able also to use different info to different groups of contacts."
3) Anonymous contact list of contacts:
http://www.google.com/moderator/#15/e=4cd8&t=4cd8.40&q=4cd8.1e26d
Let me an option to appear as anonymous in my contacts list of contacts to other people. I don't want to be able to be find in my friends list of contact by my boss (for example)if my friends make public their list of contacts. My boss would see the list and in the end anonymous (5).
4) Blur my face:
http://www.google.com/moderator/#15/e=4cd8&t=4cd8.40&q=4cd8.1d1c2
If someone posts a photo with me in it, use the face recognition system to blur my face to the followers that i don't have contact with and of course do the same if the post is public. I don't know if Buzz has face recognition (facebook does), but google has the technology in picassa and they applied it in street view. Of course my friends would see the photo with no blur, and if in the photo is a person that i don't know and he has choose to blur his face, i would see his face blurred.
5) Hide my name:
http://www.google.com/moderator/#15/e=4cd8&t=4cd8.40&q=4cd8.1bcba
The same method applied to the photos but to my name. If someone post a buzz with my name or nickname in it, change my name with ****** to the followers that i don't have contact with and of course do the same if the post is public.
Now, just vote if you like them or call me a privacy paranoid, but please, don’t vote against them if you don't like them, you don't win anything.
Thanks for your attention and forgive my English (it's not my native language).
