<<"We have a $150 million investment commitment from six offices for 2006," Motorola Ventures co-founder and Managing Director Matthew Growney told Reuters on Monday on the sidelines of a venture capital conference in Tel Aviv. "Of that, we will invest $20 to $25 million in Israel.">>

David, this is just a friendly suggestion so please don't take it the wrong way... :-)
Is there any chance you could only post an image when it's absolutely necessary to the content of the post? I don't think there's any need to just post logo of the company you're commenting on.
For example, these are perfectly relevant: http://blogoscoped.com/forum/40482.html#id40482 http://blogoscoped.com/forum/40475.html#id40475
... whereas these aren't necessary IMHO: http://blogoscoped.com/forum/40299.html#id40299 http://blogoscoped.com/forum/40291.html#id40291
(I guess the question you've got to ask yourself is whether you'd still post the link to the image if the URLs weren't automatically converted to images...) |
lol.. youre right.. thanks for the news-flash. and sorry if it bothered you mate ;)
(and BTW, of course not.. :P) |
We also shouldn't overdo images due to copyright reasons. But sometimes if you want to make a mere illustrative point you can use the icons I use on blog posts too. This way, there won't be the URL below the image, which can be kind of cluttering to comments (unless the image is the core of your post), and also the copyright is OK (as the images are mostly either self-made or just logos). E.g.:
