Just a simple idea: Google should let you g-mail a guy whose address you have found in Google Groups.

And, from the other side, you should be able to read the groups profile (what he has wrote, where and when) from G-mail.

There actually is a motive because Google doesn't offer the integration among services that many users (e.g. Ryan http://blogoscoped.com/forum/82253.html and myself [merged with this thread] here lately) would like to have. In fact, if Google would mind to keep integrated all the services it creates and updates, would delay all the stuff, just like Microsoft with Windows Vista. But Google is all about speed, so it prefers to give the services even if not integrated.
