The Wikipedia entry was created, existed for a while, and as a result of the scandal, got a "Speedy delete", so it's no longer there:

Edit: "FM even created a new Wikipedia entry" -> "Cisco with FM's knowledge even created a new Wikipedia entry" (if I understand Jeff's post correctly, that's more precise http://www.buzzmachine.com/2007/06/23/buying-their-voices/). |
For the record, we at Snap did not put words or slogans in the mouth of bloggers. We did place an ad buy thru Federated and asked that they get the word out about Snap to their network, but Snap never paid for posts nor required posts in order to participate in the advertsing buy.

The post at Snap.com* was paid (as I disclosed in the first paragraph of that post), but *not* any post at Google Blogoscoped (the GB post** ended up as a side-effect of that campaign but was completely outside of Snap's responsibility – it was just what left a bad taste with me, because that never happens with AdSense, i.e. an AdSense ad never triggered someone asking me what I think about the product***). And yes, you didn't ask for anything specific to be said in your campaign, as I also mentioned in that post at Snap.com...
