Picasa mobile is updated today to Google Photos on mobile along with Gmail, Calender. Looks like the mobile section of Google got a facelift.

BTW my picasa (uploading images) says that my account has not been enabled for Picasa Web albums. I remember getting a new version yesterday and looks like some accounts were not migrated. |
It's only "Photos" in the main menu:

This is just like it is in the top navigation bar which appears across most services. Once you click through, it's still called Picasa mobile. |
