Is that perhaps the user name of another person, that got mixed up? |

When i sign in to Google Talk, it first displays my Google Account username: orphandland, and after a split of a second it changes to David Hetfield.
What Suresh posted above happened to me once, but i managed to solve it after closing the client and opening it again.

Ho god!.i went to my personal information. it was changed.now i replaced with First name with Suresh and saved it. but it appears again as sowmya |

I have 1 similar but strange error
Say if you set your visible name today as "On Vacation..." or something else, it apears same way in my Gtalk. Later on even if you change it back to normal, it shows the same old in my Gtalk.
First I thought friends are not changing there name, but when I met a few of them, I got to know there was some error with my Gtalk only
I tried uninstalling Gtalk, & installing the never version, but the problem persists. Later on I noticed same names appear even in the browser version of Gtalk
Anyone else faced any similar issue?
