Why don't I have an 'Accounts' tab in my settings?

Hi. I would like to chose the address the user see in the 'From' field. However, in my 'Settings' I do not have the 'Accounts' tab. I have only the following tabs: General, Labels, Filters,
Forwarding and POP and Account Settings.

Should I wait? Or should I report it somebody?
Thanks

Magda, you need to simply change your "Gmail display language" to "English (US)" and save changes. Once Gmail reloads, you should be able to see it.

(You can then change your language back after you've added a custom "From" field.)

Hope that helps.

Tony, thanks!!!! It works. My language was set to English (UK). I cannot see the Accounts tab. Why is that? Is it a bug?

I think that Google simply use different versions of the user interface depending on which language you've got selected. That way, they can release new features before they get all the text translated.

(I'm in the UK, but always have my Google language set to "English (US)" just so I don't miss out on anything!)

Thanks again, Tony. I will keep my language 'English (US)'.
