[moved from "Gmaill 2.0" thread]
anyone know how to hide the "sender" email address on emails sent using other addresses via gmail?
example: I have emailaddress gmail.com but i send email with another pop account for a domain i own as emailaddress mydomain.com
when people receive my email they see its from emailaddress mydomain.com but they can also see the sender is emailaddress gmail.com... can this be hidden or disabled?
thanks! sam |
No, at least not completely. Any email you send from emailaddress gmail.com will always have that address in the email header, regardless of whether you're using just a reply-to address or a properly validated additional email address.
AFAIK, the only way to achieve what you want is to use Google Apps... or use a desktop mail client. |
