anyone know how to hide the "sender" email address on emails sent using other addresses via gmail?

example: I have emailaddress[put at-character here]gmail.com but i send email with another pop account for a domain i own as emailaddress[put at-character here]mydomain.com

when people receive my email they see its from emailaddress[put at-character here]mydomain.com but they can also see the sender is emailaddress[put at-character here]gmail.com... can this be hidden or disabled?

thanks!

No, at least not completely. Any email you send from emailaddress[put at-character here]gmail.com will always have that address in the email header, regardless of whether you're using just a reply-to address or a properly validated additional email address.

AFAIK, the only way to achieve what you want is to use Google Apps... or use a desktop mail client.
