Oddly, Google (UK) doesn't have a logo for Remembrance Day, they could have at least made an effort by just sticking a poppy on the logo. |
Well 2002 – 2006 they had a logo but it is a shame they didn't bother this time :(And they need to update their UK logo page http://www.google.co.uk/logos/poppy06.gif http://www.google.co.uk/logos/poppy05.gif http://www.google.co.uk/logos/poppy04.gif http://www.google.co.uk/logos/poppy03.gif http://www.google.co.uk/logos/ukpoppy02.gif

I'm not seeing the logo on google.com (Or google.co.uk)
Where did you find it Avrohom? |
David, it's geo-targeted:

It's on Google.com (where I am – in Florida) |
Thanks Tony. Now i can see it :) |
Hmmm put em all together and.... http://mrrix32.googlepages.com/poppy.jpg |
(I too see a normal Google logo in AEF's comment...) |
Philipp, that's weird. Yesterday I could see the Veterans Day logo in AEF's comment but now I see the standard logo. It looks like this might have been replaced. |
I still see the image correctly. Weird! |

What happens when you empty your cache and reload? |
Well, i didn't empty my cache, (cause i don't want to.. lol..) But i've opened it on IE, and you're right Philipp. It's gone.
Weird.. :/ |
Dang – your right.
Really strange |
Well... for some reason, it's gone now. I can only see the the original Google logo on FF.. :/
You're still getting it Avrohom? |
No. I clicked on the link and then I pressed CTRL F5 and it switched to regular Google logo. :(
Probably someone had a problem with it and they had to take it off for legal or sensitivity issues. |
I asked Google about this and the said:
<<We had the Veteran's Day doodle running in the US on Google.com on Veteran's Day (11/11), which is why it is no longer on the homepage. The doodle will be updated by 1:00pm PT at http: //www.google.com/logos/veterans07.gif.>>
They also send a copy, included below:

Press CTRL + F5 – see if it works |
