MSN/LIVE had 2nd share? I reckon this is because of the MSN being default homepage and Live being default search in IE7

[put at-character here]James Xuan: The graph is showing percent growth, I think, not market share. (For one thing, the numbers go over 100%.)

Look at the first picture for the market share: Google 68.0%, Yahoo 18.1%, MSN/Live 9.2%, and Ask 3.9%.

interesting to compare their data with HitWise, which was just released.

It is probably best to reference all the data firms and analyze their combined stats

Hitwise, the leading online competitive intelligence service, today announced that Google accounted for 64.49 percent of all U.S.searches in the four weeks ending October 27, 2007.

Yahoo! Search, MSN Search and Ask.com each received
21.65, 7.42 and 4.76 percent respectively.

The remaining 49 search engines in the Hitwise Search Engine Analysis Tool accounted for 1.68 percent of U.S. searches.
