Is there any way to search all of the "plus" addresses you have set up for your gmail account? For example – you set up many "plus" addresses but you don't remember all of them So you want to just search for anything sent to yourname+[anyandallplusaddresses]gmail.com. I've tried searching to: yourname+ but that doesn't seem to work... Does anyone have any ideas? |
type "to:yourname+[whateverplusaddressyouwanttolookfor]gmail.com" without inverted comma's |
Sorry, i wasn't very clear :) What i meant was i want to search for all "plus addresses", not just ones that I remember.
I have given out a lot of different plus addresses but I don't remember what they are – so is there any way to just search for all? |
I'm not at home right now, but check, to:yourname+*gmail.com |
Thanks for the help, but that search doesn't work either.... I've tried a few other variations ans still no dice to:yourname+* to:*+* to:+ to:+*gmail.com yourname'+'*gmail.com
Thanks |
Try this "yourname" + "gmail.com" |
for me it's not working. i am getting error page cannot be displayed |
Suresh – No Dice again – it shows all of my mails as the other searches do... Thanks though :) This seem to be quite....difficult for some reason... hmmm...
Anyone else have ideas ? :P |
I think this might work out. "yourname"~gmail.com or "yourname"~*gmail.com
for example "james"~gmail.com link:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%22james%22%7E%40gmail.com&btnG=Search |
again... nope :( Maybe there is a way to see a list of who emails are sent to? |
If your email address is cowardgmail.com, search for coward in your contacts list. You'll find all the coward+? addresses assuming you replied at least once to a message received from these addresses. |
Thank you, but it turns out I have not replied to any.... i guess the real reason i want to is so that i can see what sites start to send me spam and such (for a lot of websites i sign up as username+websitenamegmail.com) Well, thanks for all the help, and ig anyone does find a way that would be quite useful |
