James, you should get initiative every once in a while, and upgrade your web site..
But they have to do this very occasionally.

True for personal websites, but corporate websites and websites that aim to deal with the common internet user should make a design and stick to it and not change your focus frequently.

This is where MSN/Live falls apart. The homepage UI changes frequently and the pointless name change seems to have created a level on confusion.

Google on the other hand, makes a minor change at most once a year (excluding link re-organisation) and is massively popular.
