so far there are not so many, really useful Gadget for iGoogle out there, except some google ones... but now I have created a must-have, which integrates a few hundred different search engines. It's easy to use, fully customizable and offers 8 languages. Just try it out and you will love it:

Why do you need inlining? Do you modify the page? |
The gadget doesn't modify your page at all!
The Problem is, that without inlining the gadget would be displayed in a frame. This makes it really difficult to automatically and smoothly adapt the module height (even with using the google dynamic Height module) when changing the browser size or adding searches. |
Sorry for my last post. I just took a deeper look into the google specs and now its working without inlining.

Maybe you should detect the language (the international Google domain) and automatically add some popular search engines.
Also, Altavista=Yahoo, you should replace Lycos with Ask and About.com should be in the knowledge category. hakia is not a dictionary or encyclopedia. For the finance category, Yahoo Finance, Google Finance are better choices. |
PS: The Google directory gadget search is pretty weak. I entered [multi search light], the exact name of the gadget, and pretty much every other gadget was ranked first (including something called "sexy search"...)... and that was 3 result pages all in all. |
