I've had this numerous times, including on the "We think you're a robot" page, its incredibly annoying not being about to use Google search when the issue occurs – mainly because I end up using Yahoo! which never seems as relevant for me.

Weird.. o_O

Shouldn't they be having the "Click to get a new CAPTCHA" button?

Won't there come a time soon that captchas won't be very effective? What are good alternatives to captchas? GPG (PGP) FTW!

I had this a few days ago setting up a new clients Google Apps acount. I not sure – but I think I just closed it an reopened it and it gave me a good captcha.
