The latest post at Google's Code blog demonstrates what Google calls "touchEarth", Google Earth on a multi-touch table.

That'd go great on my multi-touch table in about ten years time when these things become common place. Sadly, until then I'm stuck with my trusty QWERTY keyboard and mouse for Google Earth.

Realy need to find somewhere selling IR LEDs :D

I could see how this big ass table replacing globes in libraries and schools everywhere.
