....email program in Windows Vista, using IE7? |
I don't know.
But I suggest: 1. Format your disc 2. Install, at least, XP 3. Install firefox. 4. Enjoy.
(just kidding!) |
Use Gmail for "Mail To" links: http://www.google.com/support/toolbar/bin/answer.py?answer=78183
In case someone asks, there's a similar feature for the Firefox version of Google Toolbar, Send with Gmail: http://www.google.com/support/firefox/bin/answer.py?answer=34800 |

I think I posted this once before, but I would like to revisit. So I have the Gmail notifier set to use as "internet mailto:links."
I also have the toolbar set for "Gmail for mailto links."
So I click on someone's email add.
It launches Gmail.....and gets stuck on loading.
Now what? |

try to use http://gmailnotifier.net and upgrade your account from gmail to google apps |
I really wish there was a simple way to make Windows recognize gmail as the default mail protocol handler, so that the OS context menu options like "send to email address" would work and pop up Gmail. Currently even with the notifier and handling mailto: links, Windows doesn't know what's going on in the context menus. |
