PS: Long time ago that new features were added to it by Google. And it makes my computer really slow, I hope Google works on that... |
I have been a loyal Google Desktop user .. but I don't really like the gadget's look and feel .. they should learn from Yahoo Widgets. The reason why I still use Google Desktop is because it really has efficient and accurate search. :) |
I use it as a launcher for both web apps and real apps. |
GDS its a memory hog.. I close it while working on memory intensive app's..
But its hecka kewl for me, and I like it.. I get my river of news/ Photos etc all right there.. I dont go to the web, the web comes to me..!

Results might be more interesting if broken down by desktop search and sidebar.
I use Google desktop search frequently (e.g. I find the desktop web history better than the online one) but rarely the sidebar/desktop-gadgets (i prefer the konfabultor/yahoo gadgets for desktop). |
