Polyvore use pictures from two of my sites http://www.fragrantica.com/ and http://www.punmiris.com/ and they link back page where originally have found picture.

Well, they do not make any money for sending me traffic but also traffic I got from them has quite high bounce rate... I do not know what to feel about that site... I like it it is not like zillions of web scrappers who steal our content but also I am not seeing much benefit out of it... except some link juice.

It is innovative approach to products probably they have facebook application... and I guess they will do fine... and they need allot of work to do on their site... I would like to talk with those guys and offer them list of pictures/pages they can use in their applications...

That was my reaction, except I thought "Barbie for the Web".

It kept my interest for about 35 seconds. I hope she saved her money while she was at Google. Whether this is good or not, the problem is that there are so many of these derivative products out there now that do not much more than recombine data from other sites using what must certainly by now be public domain Javascript programming.

I'm all for having fun on the Internet, but surprised that so many products aim ONLY to be fun without any hint of ultimate usefulness. Community for communities sake.

By contrast, something like Ning has so much potential for spawning really useful community based services, both fun, and useful in the real world.

I sure hope OpenID catches on soon!

[put at-character here]macbeach: I sure hope this isn't Niniane Wang's "project in social space".

Sorry, forget that comment, MyMiniLife is of course a third party app.

MyMiniLife looks interesting. I don't understand the post at the Orkut blog though. There's no link (e.g. to http://myminilife.com) and I also can't find that app in the apps directory at http://sandbox.orkut.com

Barbie for the Web. You guy losers have nothing to show off on the web. Barbie girls do not need things useful, and just wanna have fun. But why not become Kent to win a Barbie?
