People in China recently held a three minute silence in memory of the victims of the earthquake from May 12th. Google shares a chart of the search traffic on their servers for this period.

That's amazing. On the rare occasions that we've held minutes silence at work, several people usually seem to think it's still perfectly acceptable to type and click around. And given that most people work in silence anyway, that kinda misses the point... |
thats so sad all those people died because of a stupid earthquake. Did you know the largest earth was in some city i forgot what it was called but it was in China in the year 1976, it killed about 296,000 people. That's alot of humans. I give my love and prayers to those who lost friends and family in the recent earthquake. |
