Early days yet. Wait a week, til after Apple Worldwide Developer Conference on the 9th of June, when Steve Jobs is expected to unveil a new, possibly 3G, iPhone, then pick up a used first-gen unit on eBay.... complete with internal mic and (crappy, but there) camera. Jailbeak it, turn off EDGE cell radio, put the VoIP app on it, and you end up with a better/ less hacky/ phone than a 'Touch. Still not a replacement for a dedicated Skype handset, though. |
