The Italian media group (owned by Berlusconi) seems to have won against Youtube in a Viacom-like case on copyright issues.

It looks quite bad for Youtube: will they have to pay something back for having distributed shows “without express authorisation”? Will TF1's case (French leading media group) end in a similar way? Not necessarily, but I guess couts 1.0 will find inspiration in this jurisprudence.
And will Youtube have to suspend their service in Italia until all copyrighted contents will be taken down?

The article says "The formal result is not yet out" though.
