Is anyone aware of sudden SSL connection issues with Gmail? My iPhone has been configured from day one to authenticate to Gmail via SSL and today it started giving the following error:

"Unable to verify SSL server imap.gmail.com – An SSL error occurred while trying to read data from the server "imap.gmail.com". Verify that this server supports SSL and that your account settings are correct."

I haven't installed or changed anything on the iPhone.

Any ideas?

It's been fine for me all day. I think I've had this error pop up before when it was just a problem with my connection though.

I'm in the same boat. I'm so very frustrated.......
