   I have set up pop access to gmail using windows email client on vista. I notice that I am not able to send email to non-gmail accounts, the mail just vanishes into ether. On the web interface, the message does show up in the sent items folder. Any settings need to be changed ?

Hi Sohan,

The SMTP server port should be 465, and SSL option should be checked.
