Don't think I have the updates yet. I guess when you see the "Visualize" button on e.g. your keywords report page, you got parts of it already? |
the features will be rolled out over the next weeks:
>>Features being added to all accounts in the coming weeks: << |
[Moved from "OMG .. Significant Feature Upgrade for Google Analytics" – Tony]
Now you would get advanced segmentation, custom reports, a data export API (private beta), integrated reporting for AdSense publishers (private beta), multi-dimensional data visualizations called "Motion Charts," and an updated user and administrative interface.

Features are gradually rolling out (as usual) .. Don't see it yet ..

I got the changes today. I was expecting a change to the front page, because all the other pages changed a week or two ago. This will take some getting used to, but I can see it being a benefit to me |
I am not seeing any changes now. Just now i checked my Analytics account :( |
I have the change now but it seems a little bit buggy for now. I have to refresh the page "Overview: all accounts" to have correct values otherwise all is set to 0. |
Regarding the html overlay, does anyone know how this is achieved by google – even when it works normally it opens a new window which has the site address as normal at the top but the google analytics overlaid. It does also seem to work even if you close the original page. If feels like a browser security hole being used to me. |

Dave, I'm not sure exactly how this is done since I've not checked the code, but I suspect Google just using uses the JavaScript code which you embed in your page.
Don't forget that once you embed a JavaScript file, that JavaScript has full access to your page. That means it has full access to create and modify HTML elements on your page, update them dynamically and even use AJAX to do some funky stuff. The scripts run as thought they are hosted on your domain.
Of course, if you embed a JavaScript file that you don't completely trust, this could obviously be abused but it's not technically a security hole as such... |
It's literally just been enabled in my account in the last hour or so.
Advanced Segments are pretty damn cool. |
I'm not seeing the AdSense option yet, but Google put u a help page about AdSense and Analytics,
