Hmm, that's not what the article said though... the source for this seems to be http://www.techworld.com.au/article/266449/microsoft_interested_open_source_browser_ballmer?pp=1 , where Ballmer is quoted to have said:
"Open source is interesting ... Apple has embraced Webkit and we may look at that, but we will continue to build extensions for IE 8."
So he just said they "may look at that" which could mean anything or nothing. |
And even TechCrunch is using the title:
