Does anyone else think that the link above encourages people to spam Google?

(Received in an email from a 'William Charlwood'; no idea how he got my email address)

I'm very sceptical about these sorts of 'products'. I would spend the money on legitimately enhancing your reach or making your site useful such that people actually want to link to it.

PS the original email you received will not doubt have been spam.

I am aware that money should be spent legitimately enhancing your site, but the email was address to me personally and didn't get caught by gmail's spam filter, which seemed odd.
