This just in... perennial Google Trends "R"-letter leader, the flying body-sweatshop a.k.a. http://blogoscoped.com/search/?q=RyanAir [whose online booking site, last time I looked, emitted password-class credit card numbers back in plain, rather than as bullets] has shown how much it cares to improve their site/ thus streamline the booking process for its cashcow-customers: fuckall.
(And are we here, ye fellow Blogoscoperatti, collectively lunatic enough to earn that distinguished RyanAiresque epithet? I know personally I am not because I don't fly with them – I simply disregard their existence, just as they'd disregard mine, had I been lunatic enough to enlist their "services".)
"Ryanair: Lunatic bloggers can keep the blogosphere"
The Guardian/ Jemima Kiss Wed, 25 Feb., 2009;16.04 GMT
"We're delighted to see Ryanair's staff engaging with customers through social media, but there's still some way to go before the firm's employees grasp the subtleties of online interaction.
Ryanair doesn't seem to have much time for a social media policy.
» [...] "It is Ryanair policy not to waste time and energy corresponding with idiot bloggers and Ryanair can confirm that it won't be happening again.
Lunatic bloggers can have the blog sphere all to themselves as our people are far too busy driving down the cost of air travel." « http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/pda/2009/feb/25/ryanair-socialnetworking |
