"Google Inc's YouTube and Universal Music Group are in talks to create a premium online music video service, sources familiar with the situation said on Wednesday.

If they reach a deal, the service could mark a significant step forward in Google's attempt to generate revenue from YouTube, which it acquired for $1.65 billion in 2006.

This should definitely be branded YouTube: Vevo to reinforce that this IS YouTube to users in my opinion. Otherwise Vevo might just fail like other companies with this idea, for example

YouTube could use their massive userbase to their advantage is they brand this right, however, one question; when can we use music in our videos again and generate free advertising for the Music Studios? :P
