According to Chris Matyszczyk's cnet column "Technically Incorrect", Google Earth was used by a robber to find roofs with valuable lead tiles.

In an earlier column he said that a Girl Scout was banned from selling her Girl Scout cookies via a YouTube video. Apparently the Girl Scouts of America objected.
