A short summary with my own opinion about that:
Weichert is against Street View, the others 15 privacy men of the Bundesländer say street view is more or less ok. Google now has to provide a tool for removing you, your house or your last visit in a porn cinema from street view BEFORE it launches in Germany. Peter Fleischer said in an interview that street view will launch in Germany in 2009 – i think in the end of this year.
Last autumn spokesman Keuchel said SV will come in Spring 2009

Rough translation:

<<Google informed the privacy safety bureaus that starting on April 29th 2009, they're resuming to capture digital street view imagery for their internet service Street View. The cities Kiel and Lübeck of the state Schleswig-Holstein will be the focus of the cam equipped cars in May and July. Smaller towns too "will be captured if they border on these respective cities." Previously, the data security bureaus ... met with Google. The internet company guaranteed that if there were objections to imagery, the respective snapshots would be made irrecognizable even "before publication".

Information requests and/ or objections are to be made via email to streetview-deutschland[put at-character here] or via snail mail to ...>>
- Press release from the privacy safety bureau of the state of Schleswig-Holstein from May 4th
