For over an hour, every time I check reader.google.com, I'm redirected to https://www.google.com/a/google.com/ServiceLogin?service=writely within few seconds.
I thought it wdon't see any change in docs.google.com. |
Oops, sorry for the previous post: I thought it was related to Google Docs facelift, but I don't see any change there.
Does anyone else have this trouble, or any idea of its cause?
I get it on Safari (Mac) but I can't test it on Chrome because of another (very annoying) bug – see the third comment here http://friendfeed.com/mattcutts/97ca9f3f/want-rss-support-in-chrome-just-get-this |
I get it on Firefox too. No Reader, no Chrome for me :( |

Anyone experiences the same?

I'm being thrown out of Google Reader, it isn't possible to log in anymore (in fact it is for a few seconds only)
And a strange icon is appearing, redirected url is refered to a kind of Google Docs url? |

No everything is ok here with Google Reader. |
no problems here, related to this [threads now merged]? |
Also when you navigate directly to: http://www.google.com/reader/ ? |
It's because of the RSS stream of this item: http://googlepublicpolicy.blogspot.com/2009/09/google-books-hearing-congressional.html
It makes you redirect to a Google Docs on the Google.Com domain.
If you start your google reader with the home page as start page, you don't have the problem.
You can change that by going directly to this url http://www.google.com/reader/settings to change that.

Got a reply from Mihai Parparita, a Google Reader Engineer, tonight. The blog owner is going to be contacted to fix the problem. Great service! |
