[moved ~ hebbet] As more and more major places are being photo-documented by Google Street View, Google seems to be running out of options. Well, it’s either that, or Google just wants to be cool and engage its users more in their projects. I mean they’ve already asked people to make buildings for Google Earth. Anyway, Google is now letting people suggest where the Street View Trike should go. You can submit your nomination at www.google.com/trike by choosing from 6 different categories that include Parks & Trails, University Campuses, Pedestrian Malls, Theme Parks & Zoos, Landmarks, and Sports Venues. Nominations are open until October 28th. Google will then let people vote for their favorite place from each category. According to Google, when the Trike was unveiled in the UK, they received more than 10,000 nominations and 35,000 votes.
