I was checking http://google.com/profiles and Matt Cutts's profile was one of the featured profiles on that page, when I clicked it I got an error that this profile wasn't found.
It seems that Matt Cutts didn't like Buzz, and he disabled it and his google profile got deleted along with it.

Also, I haven't seen any posts in his blog about Buzz. |
Ah! When I searched the profiles I wrote Cutts with one t so I couldn't find him and that was my guess. |
Matt's two accounts are still live: http://www.google.com/profiles/109412257237874861202 (perso) http://www.google.com/profiles/115164202114242075433 (pro)
He probably changed his profile URL to avoid spam as it can only be customized by using the Google email username. |
(I don't like the fact you can't choose anything but your gmail nickname) |
YES! Good point Zim, I hate that too and that's the reason that I don't have a friendly URL for my profile. Otherwise it's to ugly and not logical. |
Dropped an email to Google about this. No plans at the moment to make custom url's available. The suggestion was forwarded to the team. |
I don't see why you can't pick Picasa Web's custom username. |
I bet you could see who Matt emailed most with, maybe someone from Bing ;-) |
