It's not a rumor, more likely a mockup picture-cum-PR-trial-balloon intended to judge the reception of the public. It is also pretty old by Internet standards, I already saw it several weeks ago.

So, let's judge it by its surface. My initial, and still going strong, opinion is that, IF that's the best Google can do, bring out a tablet primarily for search duties (as per the floated picture), THEN that represents a failure of Google's thinking. A tablet in which the keyboard covers half the screen while google.com takes up the rest? What is this, a joke? |
