googles old suggestion for mis - spelt words

I noticed that Google is asking "did you mean:.." and offering a suggestion to a miss spelt word. I wondered if anyone noticed this too, as i think it used to say something else, like it used to sound sarcastic and it was funny! there were even T.shirts made quoting what google said before a suggestion!..if anyone can remind me of what it used to say as i find it quite amusing! now it sounds polite and boring! lol

For years now Google has been using "did you mean". Not sure if they ever said anything else, perhaps you're thinking of another Google feature. Even back in 2003 a Googlebomb used to mock Google when it said, "Did you mean: french military defeats" (upon entering [french military victories]), so the phrase is at least 7 years old.
