I'm trying to open GMail from chrome on Ubuntu but it like hangs up and then I get the message to terminate the tab. I tried clearing the cookies, cache still no luck. I tried even reinstalling chrome and it didn't work too.

Any ideas?

Try doing this:
"Right click on the Chrome icon and select properties and add " --no-sandbox" to the end of Target"

Tried and no luck. I even tried reinstalling Google chrome, and tried the beta build and the Chromium build and still it freezes whenever I try to check the GMail.

Any other browsers on your operating system?
