Google Instant is a new Google Enhancement that shows the result as you type.
This part can be a bit confusing to people who are quite familiar to Google search. Because as we type something in the Search box, it automatically gives us some suggestions about the search. Now, this shouldn’t be mistaken with Google Instant. Google Instant is something much advanced.
