No. I'd have thought he MADE enough time to TRY a new high-profile Google service before it launches. Having said that, we can't be sure that he is not on there. Perhaps, he is there under a pseudonym.

He admitted that he screwed up on social. That might be the reason why he was replaced by Sergey. He's not easily discoverable (if at all) on Google+
