thanks (groan!) to thje olympics games Google update the google maps service vith maps of torino (of course) and part of piemonte and lombardy (in effect it seems that it take a vertical "stip" including torino and other city)
we all are (all europeans excluding UK) still waiting for the rest of italy and Europe, of course...
