I've been playing with the new SDK in Google Desktop Beta 3 and have written a plugin that lets you have chat room style conferences with people in your GoogleTalk friends list.

   Unfortunately I've not converted enough friends to use GoogleTalk and Google Desktop so it's been difficult to test. If you're got Talk and Desktop installed and are willing to help me test it out, drop me a line at RetosSoftware at gmail.com and I'll send you the plugin to install and try out.

If all goes well I'll be releasing it to the wild later today.
