just make sure those old folks are using OS X or Linux – or else they'll be scared off pretty rapidly thanks to WIndoze spyware and viruses...

just one more point – you'd be surprised at just how many older retired folks frequent the Linux bulletin boards (e.g. mandrakeusers.org).

They've got time on their hands, and quite a few have become seasoned Linux hackers.
