Anyone has a clue on how to become a Google Answers Researcher ?

[Off-Topic]

Has anyone noticed that Pleasanton appears in most of Google Trends queries' Top Cities ? It seems like the default US city.

As far as Wikipedia knows, the population of the only two cities in the US under that name don't exceed the 70,000 mark.

I guess it didn't trigger anyone's attention, how are you supposed to be a Google Answers Researcher if you can't find that out yourself.

Anyhow the answer is you can't:

I am a Google Answers Researcher. The first rule of becoming a Google Answers Researcher is: don't ask how to become a Google Answers Researcher ;)

The phrase "we likely will begin accepting applications again in the near future" has been on that web page for years.

Some "near futures" are closer than others!
