There are discussions at forums about Google's "Cached" option suddenly disappearing from the search results.
Forum postings say looks like it's some kind of cookie issue. Unfortunately the most informative related linuxbox.org mailing list archive is not public. Thread lists the following advices:
- Use 'Return results from the site' via Advanced Search menu - Delete all your cookies - Delete browser cache
Onen posting says Firefox on two different computers did not show Cached link but when checked checked with Mozilla and Safari both showed it. It was also reported that some "bad sites" has been removed from the cache (manually?).

I'm using Firefox and I still have those cached results. Strange... |
Same here, Cached links point to URLs like http://72.14.221.104/search?q=cache:.... when using default search page included to Firefox (home page) and to http://66.249.93.104/search?q=cache:.... when using Google.com/Google.fi.
