Has anyone seen this? It's a website that lets you find a location via Google Maps, and then put a pin on it with a description. You can send a link of your pin to anyone you want. They also have a premium feature where for about $3.95 a month, you can have a gold pin, choose your website link, no ads on your pin's page, and more.

I've been there before. It's a neat mashup, but I could never see paying for it, and seeing how easy it is to mashup I couldn't see any companies paying for this when there IT dept could accomplish the same task for free.

Hi Nate,

You make a fair point, but it isn't aimed at companies big enough to afford an IT department.

There are plenty of little businesses running their own website who want an easy way to add a cool map to their site, and who've never heard the term "mashup" before :)

Thanks for your interest.

Cheers
Chris

Chris,
I guess I can see your point. If I was a mom and pop business without alot of time to mashup a map I could see how this would be an affordable solution. I think I was looking at this on to much of a grand scale. I take back what I said in my first post :)
