It's easy to set up autodelete of spam in Gmail. Just ad a filter for
"Has the words: in:spam" and the action delete it

You won't know what you've missed, but I've yet to find a real email in the junk.

Thx David for the tip, I was really looking for somethinbg like this, it works like magic!

Actually when you delete it, it stays in the Trash so you can always come back to check, plus in addition to the action "Delete it" I am forwarding it all to my SPAM test box. spamaward[put at-character here]gmail.com if anyone is interessted in sending me some junk.
